For classes sponsored by and paid through OREGON SCHOOL Of MASSAGE or other Massage Schools their cancellation policies apply.
TOUCH FOR BIRTH Cancellation Policy: In the event a TouchForBirth sponsored training is cancelled by Touch for Birth, 100% refund will be issued within 14 days of cancellation.
This is a small business, with small, individualized classes. No-Shows or last minute cancellation greatly impacts our viability! No refunds are issued less than 40 days before class, unless you are able to find someone to take your place!

• Exceptions to cancellation policies. In case of serious or contagious illness, or unforeseen genuine emergency, exceptions may be granted if possible. Get in touch with the reason for your policy exemption request, including official test results/verification letter from a physician/ or other relevant reports. Allow up to 2 weeks for us to determine if we can accommodate your exception request. Non-refundable deposits or other fees may still apply.
Health Considerations: At this time, all students must submit a Covid vaccination card at class registration or at least 1 month prior to class begins. It is a student's responsibility to practice extra precautions in the weeks prior to class, to help minimize risk of potential illness. Due to the nature of our close contact and hands-on work, no one with symptoms of any potentially contagious sickness will be allowed to attend class.
For Birth Professionals On-Call: For last minute Student cancellation of attendance to a class due to being called to a birth: Tuition credit, minus $50 fees, will be applied to the next class Leslie teaches, or tuition can be applied to Mothertouch and Mastering Pregnancy Massage DVD’s or online classes. In order for this credit to apply, students Must inform Leslie in writing of their on-call status, and the likelihood of being called to a birth, and notify her before class has begun of the inability to attend.
If you must leave for a birth in the middle of class, no refund can be given.
“HOLD” Option for “On-Call for a Birth” Birth Professionals: If there is a high chance of being called to a birth, you may choose the “HOLD” option. Register with Leslie via email, but do not pay. This will put you in a “Hold” status which will allow you to participate in the class if there is room. You Must inform Leslie of your on-call status in writing, and your desire to be on the HOLD list!
TouchforBirth will Not save space for you when on “Hold” but will allow you to join the class last minute if there is room. If the class fills to maximum, you will Not be enrolled in the class and will lose your spot. You must pay with cash or venmo at the time of class.
Issuing Refunds: All refunds will be issued in the method originally paid, or via Venmo/paypal, within 14 days of cancellation. Charges incurred by issuing refunds will be the responsibility of the student receiving the refund, unless TouchForBirth was the originator of the course cancellation.
Other Expenses: Any expenses incurred by the participant from charges that involve travel, accommodations, or other expenses related to attending a continuing education class are the sole responsibility of the participant, as well as all risks associated with non-refundable, non-endorsable, non-changeable purchases.
